"O where O where could my heart be? Without her I cannot live for, for my heart cannot beat. My better half alas I search and seek, but you slip from my hands. I cannot survive without my better half. I've searched for her and yet all I could find was my shadow. He could not help me because he was jealous of me to seek for her, so shallow! Eternity without her only tears at my soul. I search for my better half so I won't have to die so alone."  This is a poem I wrote about how I've searched and searched for my better half. Like most of us, we can only find our shadow. Our shadow (ourselves) is our inner self always telling us our search will be in vain. And yet after all of our searching and loses we keep on searching for our better half. Similar to life, even after all of our ups and downs will continue to live, get up in the morning and see what comes to us all over again.  About myself, I came into this world without a father and was raised in poor corrupt neighborhoods most of life by a single mother. I used to see my mother working two jobs, trying to get ahead, but we were always in debt. While growing up, I was constantly getting into trouble: Fighting, stealing, using and selling drugs. I always felt like it w as me against the world. This is a picture of me and my dog. His name was "gee" and he was half pit-bull and half bull-mastiff. Gee was my only friend because he always stayed loyal to me and would never let anyone hurt me. And I would do the same for him. It's really hard to find a friend like that nowadays.  I've been incarcerated since 2001. My favorite color is sky blue, I love to read history, and I try to keep my body in tip top shape by working out. I'm a good guy, I just been dealt a bad hand.  I'm hoping somebody will read this ad and say "This may be my better half!" Or at least give me a chance?
