What's goin' down!!! My name is Ron, and right now I'm being held captive on the second largest death penalty state in the U.S., and if you didn't know, Texas Death Row is the place. And I wouldn't be to surprised if it wasn't first before long. Anyway, I'm in search of a pen-friend or two. and if you feel that you are up to that task, then by all means... feel free to drop me a line any time...

To help you decide, here's a little about myself. I'm a 30 year old cancer from the inner city of Houston, Texas. I'm a laid back type of fella. I like to laugh and shoot the bull like everyone else. But at the same time, I also like to just sit back and chill.

I am a night owl, and another I am far from an outdoorsmen. I am an outside type person. While free, I enjoyed throwing
Barbeques, and having volleyball games on the weekends. I like animals too. Birds, snakes and large cats are among my favorite. But out of them, I like the black panther the most. I guess that it's the strength and majesty that they portray that makes me like them so much. But then it could be just that they look good... Oh, and by the way, as for the type of music that I listen to, I most definitely like to listen to Slow R & B songs, Rap and Gangsta Rap. I also like Reggae, Jazz, Soul and some P-funk too.

As for things that interest me as far as the out side world is concerned. I dream of some day being able to walk free from this
place of isolation. But in being truthful with myself; that chance is far and remote. However, I continue to hope upon hope that something will come about that will allow me to walk through the valley of death and still come out walking. And while I dream of that... I also dream of having a chance to talk to and help the youth of today to see that the ways of street life is only a fast route to a great deal of pain in the end. I would love to have the chance to those who are at risk. For I feel that the answer to our problem is not in building more prisons but in teaching and showing those who are at risk the value of freedom, the value of education in this world. I would love to have the chance to express to them, the children of the world that if something cannot be replaced, or that you can never have a second chance at. Because of this wish, I have been giving much thought to writing a book. Thinking that just maybe my world will help save at least one from going the route that I
took.

Well that's just a small peek into this man behind the walls. I have to say that I am interested in mostly females, 24 and up. Race is not a concern to me. I'm looking for friendship's. Someone who can be real with themselves and with me as well. Some one caring and understanding as well. Someone caring and understanding as well. But then at the same time I do like people with a little life to them as well. Ain't nothing like a friend that you can really relate to....

However, anyone should feel free to write. I will return all letters as I can. I also wanted to add that if there should be someone who is doing research or anything like that for school, then you too should feel free to write and ask me any questions that you would like.
